Hamtramck is the heart of the Detroit area Polish-American Community. The festival, which takes place every Labor Day weekend, is in it’s 32nd year, and features authentic Polish cuisine, carnival rides, live music, a kielbasa eating contest and the traditional Polish Day Parade on Labor Day.
