New Zealand Idiot Photos

For those of you who haven’t been with me from the beginning of this blog, (and that is most of you)- I wrote a post early last year explaining what an Idiot Photo is. (See: Hi, My Name is Erik Smith and I’m an Idiot).

I certainly don’t take as many of these anymore- they certainly aren’t as easy to take on my dSLR camera as they were on my old point and shoot. I did manage to come up with some ‘good’ ones and some ‘bad’ ones- I’ll let you interpret which are which.

I have a of these. In fact, we bought one of those telescoping camera mounts for taking selfies. Works great!

I had a retractable pole that helped with these, but I lost it. Maybe that would be a good purchase for my upcoming trip…

Nice tweak on the self portrait – You always look happy and show great landscapes behind you. .

They are fun to take- I always am insecure when other people are around while I am taking these. What must they be thinking?
