Photo Essay- AT&T Park, San Francisco

Watching game 6 of the National League Championship Series from San Francisco’s AT&T Park reminded me how much I liked the park when I visited there in September 2011. It was the last regular season home game, and the defending champion Giants hadn’t been mathematically eliminated yet, but it was close.

Combining the day game with the disappointing season, and there was a smaller than usual crowd.

I sat in the right field seats, right above McCovey Cove and the Giants Carlos Beltran hit two home runs, one which was caught be a guy two rows back from my seat and one that went into the water right behind where my seat was.

Unfortunately for me, I was out of my seat for both, getting the famous Gilroy Garlic Fries during the first, and walking around taking pictures of the park during the second.

I’ve been to 13 different ballparks, and AT&T Park is my favorite.
