Reykjavik’s Saga Museum, located in the basement of the Perlan building on a hill near the city’s airport, is an exceptional museum, which recounts the country’s long, bloody history. Admission comes with the included audio guide, available in a number of languages. Combing the museum with the outstanding views of the city and it’s colorful roofs and environs makes it a can’t miss.
