The afternoon of Day Twenty-Six was spent exploring the amazing areas of The Te Paki Sand Dunes and Ninety Mile Beach, both famous tourist attractions in Northland.

   Absolutely beautiful post…..here’s a wonderful example of how a picture is worth a thousand words. I simply LOVE those pics of the footsteps in the sand and the misty figures. I really felt like taking off my shoes and walking in the sand.xxxxx

     There are a few small areas of them, but they certainly aren’t an abundant feature on the coastlines. I didn’t know much about them before I started researching this trip.
