There is certainly an ‘otherworldly’ quality to these sights.
I feel just plain silly that I didn’t even know NZ had sand dunes!
There are a few small areas of them, but they certainly aren’t an abundant feature on the coastlines. I didn’t know much about them before I started researching this trip.
